On October 6th, we hosted Satlyt's SpaceTech Uplink during SF Tech Week, and honestly, it was one of those nights that reminded us why we love being part of this industry.
From the moment doors opened at Studio 45, the energy was unreal. People started showing up right on time, some even early, founders, engineers, investors, and curious minds just excited to see what's next for space communication. Within minutes, the place was buzzing. Conversations about interoperability, AI-driven satellites, and the future of space data were happening all around.
Rama Afullo, Founder and CEO, delivered an insightful presentation alongside Nelson Kigan Psenjen, Engineering Lead, who gave a detailed demo and live look at the Satlyt Network, showing how we're rethinking satellite connectivity.
Watching people engage, ask questions, and connect ideas across totally different industries was pretty amazing to see. However, what made the night special wasn't just the tech, it was the people.
SF Tech Week had no shortage of great events, but the SpaceTech Uplink was different, smaller, sharper, and filled with genuine connection. For us at Satlyt, it was a glimpse of the future we're building, one where communication doesn't stop at Earth's edge.
